Life is fast, too fast. Years go by and when we look back, we are not always sure where the time has gone and what took up the most of it? I know I am not alone when I say that I do not think we are consistently purposeful in our plans or actions. I think we tend to react as things come our way, expecting the worse but hoping for better.
We all have dreams. Well, what is the difference between a dream and a goal? A plan. Not many share your inner dreams so only you can formulate your thoughts and desires to initiate a plan. Even if you need help with a plan, only you can take the steps to accomplish it.
I see a lot of people coming to us for help. They know they need more but instead of going forward in direction, they become distracted with whatever is screaming the loudest that day.
Get alone with yourself, a piece of paper and a pen. Write out the direction you want to go in business, at home, with life. Life is fast but it is too short to not go forward with your heart’s desires.
That is very true, and you have brought this to my attention more times than you likely know :-) I am recovering from back surgery but afterward hope to get focused on what I “believe” I can do for the rest of my life. I need a plan in a big way……
We have retreat the same weekend as you gals are having yours. I am praying that yours goes really well, I just know it will!

Before I became a Christian I found myself carried along through life like someone caught in a riptide. Today, through the strength and wisdon I’ve gained in the scripture, I have a goal to live my life, short term, one day at a time pleasing and serving God and maturing as a Christian. Long term, I plan to mature enough as a christian to fulfill my christian duties my helping the less fortunate and spreading the gospel to all who touch my life.
Before I was a christian, my life was swept along like I was caught in a riptide. Now I have a plan. In the short term, I live my life one day at a time as I believe God wants me to live – by his word and performing actions and deeds. In the longterm, I plan out my days to walk with God and share in his wisdom and strength and discipline as I share the gospel with the people who touch my everyday life. They may not all believe at first, but my job is to plant the seed. In doing this, I grow and mature as a christian and I will do this until my days on earth are done or until Christ comes again.
