Me, go back to school? Well, that is exactly what I did. I applied for the Master of Ministry’s Program at Point Loma Nazarene University and got in on 12.12.12 at noon. I know all those 12’s must be significant in some way…

My first week of class just ended and I have to say that I think it was the best week of my life!  That might be an exaggeration but really, I cannot think of any other week long event that I have taken within the last few years that has touched my heart, stimulated my mind and challenged my spirit as much as this past week. I would call my college kids every day and say, “I love school!”

As I read through the notes of last week, I am planning on posting blogs about the information and insights. Please let me know what you think and please let me know if you have any questions. I have wonderful mentors in the program; One of my professors got her PhD from Princeton and another one of my professors attended Norte Dame for his PhD. They read from the Greek Bible and literally interpret the Word as we go. I have to say that I was overly impressed with the campus Pastor…very humble, authentic and realistic. Amazing!
